FTP (File Transfer Protocol)
FTP is the process used to upload your media clips to your webstreaming account.
The easiest method to upload your media is to use an FTP Client (special FTP software). This software can be found free to download at a number of locations. For your convenience we have provided links here to some of the more popular programmes:
PC FTP Clients: CoffeCup FTP or CuteFTP or WS-FTP
Mac FTP Clients:Fetch or Vicomsoft FTP Client
Once this software has been installed you will need to enter your webstreaming account details:
Username, Password, FTP address and your account directory
(This information will have been sent to you when you opened your webstreaming account.)
When you connect to your webstreaming account you will be able to upload you media clips into your directory and you will be ready to start webstreaming.
